Location Managers/Scouts

We offer a vast range of locations to suit different projects 

·    A location scout, employed for a fixed period during pre-production, will be able to offer specific knowledge of the Sultanate of Oman landscape and will set up recces of possible locations. 

·     A location manager will offer all the above services and also deal with contracts, negotiate fees and stay with the crew throughout production to ensure the smooth running of the shoot. They will be knowledgeable of the practicalities of a film crew descending on a location in their local area and can save productions time and money by knowing what it is and isn't possible to shoot.

·      We have a full ground support crew for logistics to be able to take the crew into the desert or mountains with remote camps with kitchen and sleeping facilities.

Film Shoot permissions:

You do require permissions to shoot in Oman and these applications can take time, from 2 weeks to a month depending on the nature of the shoot and the government department dealing with the approval.

You also need to get letters to clear equipment through customs; this letter will allow you to be exempt from duty.
