Canyoning
What you will do
Just a one hour drive from Muscat takes you to the entrance of Wadi bani Auf, one of the most famous and most stunning wadi's in all of Oman . 45 minutes driving off road, through the wadi and passed the villages and farms takes you to the entrance of the famous snake canyon where we will kit up for todays adventure!
Be prepared to get wet! Enjoy the excitement and adrenalin rush of this mixture of jumping, swimming and scrambling. Dressed and ready for action you will trek along the gorge floor, up, over and round boulders, paddling or wading through water pools depending on the weather and if there has been any recent rain.
Extra Information
A reasonable standard of fitness is required to do this tour as there is swimming, walking and scrambling involved. It will take anything between 1 and 3 hours to get from the start of the canyon and out of the other end. The cars will already have been transferred to the finish point by this time.
The only thing you need to take with you into the canyon is your helmet, water and if you have one a waterproof camera, anything else can be left in the car for when you return.

Times
- Hotel pick-up at 8am (or to suit if 3+ guests)
- Hotel drop-off by 4pm
What to bring/wear
- Sun cream, sunglasses, hat, waterproof camera or case!
- It is advisable to bring a medium sized back- pack so that you can carry your water
- Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes that you can swim in and bring a change of clothes for the
journey back. - A sense of adventure!
- Light comfortable trainers. (which will get wet)
