Caving - Majlis al Jinn
What you will do:
Descend into the second biggest cave chamber in the world: Majlis al Jinn. This chamber is 180mtrs deep and 4 million cubic meters volume. The abseil in and out is mind blowing. This trip takes 2 days. We will give you 4 session of instruction before the trip to ensure you are familiar with the equipment and skills you need.
Trip includes:
- Instructor and full equipment
- Camping equipment
- Transport
- Water / soft drinks
- Food
Times:
- x4 2½ hr training sessions required in Muscat prior to departure
- Hotel pick-up at 12pm midday (or to suit if 3+ guests)
- Hotel drop-off by 4pm the following day
What to bring/wear:
- Suncream, sunglasses, hat
- Overnight bag, wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes and trainers
- Sleeping bag (available upon request)
- A head for heights!
Prices:
- 160 OR per person
- Minimum of 3 people required for activity to go-ahead

Walk-in cave
What you will do:
Walking along the mountain edge after 2.5hrs we reach an impressive cave entrance and delve up to 500m inside to explore. This huge cavern is the outlet for the Selma Plateau caving system and those brave enough can dip their toes in the chilly waters. After rejoining 4x4’s we take a picnic lunch before the drive down to the stunning talcum powder soft White Beach, where we relax for the afternoon and make camp for the night.

- Hotel pick-up at 8am (or to suit if 3+ guests)
- Hotel drop-off by 4pm the following day
