Via ferrata :

Famous Via Ferrata’s of Oman

Oman has three Via Ferrata’s and each has something different to offer.
‘ Grand Canyon ’ Via Ferrata (VF1) = Walk along stunning canyon then Via Ferrata out
Snake Canyon Via Ferrata (VF2) = A mixture of zip lines, high wires and Via Ferrata in the famous Snake Canyon
Bander Khayran Via Ferrata (VF3) = Kayak to the peninsular then Via Ferrata over the cliffs for great views of the bays and marine life of Oman below you

‘ Grand Canyon ’ Via Ferrata (VF1)
The 1hr walk along Oman ’s ‘ Grand Canyon ’ balcony walk is breathtaking and ends at an abandoned village complete with millstone and watchtower. After exploring there is a small uphill walk to the start of the Via Ferrata. The Via Feratta is mostly vertical and split in two sections that follows the old original sticks route put in years ago by villagers. The 1hr long Via Ferrata offers unique views from the ‘V’ of the ‘Canyon’

Snake Canyon Via Ferrata (VF2)
Traverse the walls of Snake Canyon 100m off the canyon floor – not one for the faint-hearted! The Via Ferrata takes you in a horseshoe circuit and you will traverse the approx 4hr route using a mixture of zip lines, high wires and a monkey bridge! The dramatic drops and views of the canyon make this an adrenalin rush for the truly adventurous!!!

Bander Khayran Via Ferrata (VF3)
Our third Via Ferrata starts with a 30min kayak out from the main beach at Bander Khayran to the start point where we put on dry trainers and set off to traverse 30-40m above the sea cliffs looking down onto the marine life in the turquoise waters below. The 2hr traverse also includes a small cave crossing.
