Self dive holidays in and around Oman is easy, the sign boards are in Arabic/ English and the roads are in good condition; with the use of a good road map you can feel safe to go exploring at your own pace; even off road.
We can help with all your Oman holiday requirements, your car, camping, equipment and even food, So that your first day is not spent shopping in a country you don’t know.
Our 4Wd cars,(Nissan Patrol) are all less than 12 months old so you’re not driving an old banger off road in the Hajar mountains; our 4x4 cars come with first aid kit and tow rope and shovel. You can mix your self drive trip with camping and hotels just send us a mail with some outline of number of days and number of people, camping or mix.
We can pick you up from the airport go through the car and even let you have a shower if your wanting to get off road ASAP.

- How much is fuel. hahaha your joking, To fill our biggest car = 12RO
- Are there plenty of petrol stations? Yes plenty all over
- Where can I camp? you can camp any place within reason, not in somebody’s garden.
- Am I safe? yes you are but don’t go leaving stuff in your tent and go off for the day, and lock car doors.
- Where can we get drinking water? From any food shop will have bottled water or you can fill your jerry can at the petrol station.
- Do places take credit cards? Small towns, unlikely, ask first
- Are there ATM machines at banks? Yes in most towns
- Is it safe to eat in the local restaurants of Oman, Go for it , you will have great fun. Don’t worry if you’re the only non local.
- How should we dress, always with modesty, cover up. Long shorts are ok but little string tops will attract unwanted attention.
- If I get stuck is there help? We yes and no, there is no quick response service, but I bet somebody will have pulled over to offer help hhhmmmm within 3mins. ( Phone us ASAP)
- Do you have child seats? Yes and for different ages.
- Do I need GPS? Hard to say depends how off the beaten track you’re going, we can hire you one if needed.
